Is the FLAMES game accurate?

It is a letter-counting game, not a compatibility model. Two people can get "Enemies" and be perfectly happy together.

Why did I get "Siblings"?

Because the remainder after cancelling shared letters landed on S. Change a nickname to a full name and the count changes with it.

How the FLAMES game works

Write both names, cross out every letter they share (one for one), and count how many letters are left. Then walk that number around the six letters F-L-A-M-E-S, removing a letter each time you land on it, and repeat until one letter remains. That letter is the answer the whole playground agreed to accept.

The game spread through South and Southeast Asia on notebook paper for decades before it ever touched a browser. This version does the same arithmetic, just faster — and shows you the cancellation so you can check the work.
